About the artist: The Reed Brothers feature singer-songwriter Dennis Roger Reed and multi-instrumentalist Don Reed. Dennis has performed throughout the United States and Canada at folk, blues, and bluegrass festivals. A true Americana artist with hundreds of original songs and no less than 10 records out. Don lives, works, and performs in Idyllwild and Palm Springs. He also teaches at Idyllwild Arts Academy where he heads up the Songwriting Department that he founded over 15 years ago. This proves to be a great day of stellar musicians and heartfelt vocals.

The Reed Brothers are joined with special guest John Malcolm Penn. John’s music is aimed squarely at the listener who enjoys truly original songs that are unique, introspective, and at times funny and always thought provoking. He has shared the stage with personal friends and fellow artists such as Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell and Guy Clark, producing Guy’s demo in 1970.
