Art Workshop: Still Life in Pastel

Learn the basics of dry pastel and still life techniques with international artist Gianne de Genevraye. In this non-competitive outdoor class, explore the ideas of light and shadow and learn about negative space by doing exercises in dry pastel. Discuss composition and color and do a contemporary finished drawing of a provided simple still life.

Fee: $37.39 per participant. All materials and art supplies are provided. Space is limited. Registration required. No art experience necessary. Ages 12 and above. Unregistered guests are not permitted.

This workshop will be taking place outdoors. Sun protection and a water bottle are recommended.

Parking is free. Please arrive 15 minutes before the program start time. Stop by the reception desk to be shown where to access the studio.
