Art Workshop: Principles of Architectural Photography
This workshop is an overview of the field of architectural photography with a look at the history of the genre and an introduction to the process of seeing and making photographs of architecture.
Attendees may bring cameras and other equipment, but the class also works as pure lecture and demonstration.
Attendees should bring the following materials:
- Camera (almost any modern camera will do)
- Tripod
Instructor:
After earning his master's of fine arts degree at Claremont Graduate University, Mark Davidson embarked on a career in photography. Beginning in portrait photography, he transitioned to architectural photography as clients responded to his striking images of buildings and interiors. Mark has employed his creative vision to quickly and efficiently complete complex projects for clients throughout the western United States. Known for his flexibility, resourcefulness, and good humor, Mark enjoys collaborating with the creative professionals that comprise his clientele.
Fee: $15 per participant. Limited spaces available.
