Sunnylands architecture influences new Pixar movie
As reported by the Desert Sun, the new Pixar film, Incredibles 2, scheduled to be released in June, is about mid-century modern art and architecture. In the story, Ralph Eggleston, production designer for the film, said, “A group of the filmmakers came to Palm Springs and spent about three days in the area doing research, touring homes like the Frey house, and other structures.”
“I think the place that was the most influential to what we are doing was Sunnylands – the scope of it; the scale of it,” Eggleston said. Read more…
