Films on the Great Lawn—A Better Life

A Better Life, released in 2011, tells the story of a father who struggles to keep his son from the gangs in East L.A. and immigration agents, while also giving his son more opportunities than he had. Filmgoers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and small picnic items for the outdoor screening. Large coolers, alcohol, smoking, and pets are not permitted.
