Family Day: Art of Latin America

Join students from Cathedral City High School’s Creativity, Activity, & Service (CAS) program at Sunnylands Center & Gardens for a free Family Day event, Art of Latin America.

Sunday, January 19, from 9 am – 2 pm

Learn about the different arts and traditions from Latin American countries though student instructions. Guests are welcome to explore the various student led activities:

• Ballet folklorico and theater “puppet” arts from Mexico
• Jewelry making from Columbia
• Kite decorating from Guatemala
• Learn and play traditional music from Latin American countries

All Family Day activities are free of charge. Admission and parking are free. Reservations not required. Program changes may require the cancellation or rescheduling of some events.

Outdoor programs may be canceled or modified due to weather conditions, including rain, lightning, or strong winds.
