Sunnylands Series: Modernist Birds, Bridges, and Japanese Cranes: Delights on the Grounds at Sunnylands
In partnership with the Rancho Mirage Public Library, the Sunnylands Series returns with a special presentation about the grounds of the historic Sunnylands estate.
This lecture will focus on the monumental-scale artworks and other intriguing structures added to the grounds at Sunnylands soon after the estate was completed in 1966. Director of Heritage at Sunnylands, Anne Rowe, will showcase the history of the land art collection and other built structures that can be found throughout the grounds of the estate.
This presentation will be held on Thursday, February 27, from 2–3 pm, at the Rancho Mirage Public Library, located at 71-100 CA-111, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.
All Sunnylands Series lectures are free and open to the public. No reservations required. Please note, this lecture series does not take place at Sunnylands.
