Valeria Moy

Prior to her current position, Valeria Moy spent four years at the head of Mexico, ¿Cómo vamos?, a research center focused on Mexico’s economic policy. She worked at the National Banking and Securities Commission in the areas of development and economic studies, market supervision, and stock market supervision. She was a senior researcher for the Harvard Business School based in Mexico for three years.
Since 2001, she has taught macroeconomics, at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM). She is a weekly columnist and has a podcast on economic issues called Pears and Apples. She is a nonresident associate of the Atlantic Council and the Brookings Institution.
She is an economist from ITAM and a Master in Administration from the London School of Economics.
