Ms. Manusmriti is a career diplomat with over ten years of experience working in the Indian Foreign Service. She has served in the Indian Embassies in Cairo and Bangladesh and at the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. She has been stationed at the Indian Embassy in Washington, DC, since December 2019, where she works in the Political Wing with a focus on India’s relationship with the U.S. Congress. Ms. Manusmriti has a master’s degree in the History of International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences; a bachelor’s degree in History from St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi, and a diploma in Arabic from the American University in Cairo.
