Paul Newnham

Paul Newnham specializes in generating solutions to complex problems alongside communities around the world. Currently living in London, Newnham coordinates the Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG2) Advocacy Hub. Uniting the private sector, UN agencies, NGOs, and civil society, Paul strives to strengthen efforts towards seeing an end to world hunger by 2030.
Working strategically alongside actors from all aspects of the food industry, Paul seeks to generate change that will impact not only the distribution of food, but the way we interact with food for years to come.
Paul has extensive knowledge of the nonprofit sector and experience managing complex stakeholder relationships. Having worked for 15 years with World Vision Australia, New Zealand, Chile, and the Global Headquarters, his career has focused on the belief that it is possible to end global poverty. He has worked in communities throughout Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas, to bring about positive, lasting, sustainable change.
In his earlier years, Paul served as a reservist combat engineer in the Australian army, worked as a youth pastor, a youth camp director, and as an event manager of his own company. He has traveled extensively, and has also lived for extended periods throughout the developing world, including Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
