Marco Gualtieri

Marco Gualtieri is the founder and chairman of Seeds&Chips, which includes the world-renowned event on food innovation and sustainable development, The Global Food Innovation Summit. The event brings together hundreds of startups, companies, universities, institutions, investors, accelerators, opinion leaders, policy makers, and students from all over the world.
Since 2015, Seeds&Chips’ mission has been to bring innovators together to find practical solutions to food issues. With its fifth edition in Milan, its two U.S. events in partnership with the Specialty Food Association, and a soon-to-launch flagship event in Melbourne, Australia, the Seeds&Chips summits continue to unite thought leadership on food systems.
Marco’s vision and approach has won several awards throughout the years. He is an internationally recognized expert and speaker, a participant of several worldwide food tanks, Italy’s Food Ambassador, and a board member of several companies and associations that focus on the future of food and sustainability.
He is also “International Affairs Delegate for Sustainability of the Agency for the Economic Development of the Republic of San Marino”.
Since 2004, Marco has been co-founder and board member of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights in Europe. He is also known for founding TicketOne, the first and leading e-commerce ticketing platform in Italy, as well as being a co-founder of Netcomm, Italy’s largest e-commerce association.
He has degrees from the University of Pavia in economics and business administration.
