Lindsey Doyle joined InterAction in 2017 and currently manages the team’s nascent work on conflict prevention and fragility. In this role, she leads member-facing policy work on addressing key drivers of instability, including violent conflict and climate change, through advocacy with the legislative and executive branches of the U.S. government.

Lindsey brings to InterAction six years of experience in conflict prevention and mitigation policy and research, as well as overseas experience with civil society organizations in Latin America and Southern Africa. Previously, Lindsey worked at the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations developing inter-agency strategies on gang violence reduction and regional cooperation in Central America, establishing the Atrocities Prevention Board, effective government-civil society engagement, and work on the Women, Peace, and Security agenda.

Lindsey is an alumna of Princeton in Latin America, the Rotary Peace Fellowship, and the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights. Her work has been recognized through the Martin Holmdahl Award for the Promotion of Human Rights from the Vice Chancellor of Uppsala University and a Superior Honor Award from the U.S. Department of State. Lindsey is also the co-founder of a social enterprise called Media and Arts for Peace, LLC. She holds a M.S. in Peace and Conflict Research from Uppsala University in Sweden and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
