George Jagoe

Manager of Access and Product, Medicines for Malaria Venture

George Jagoe leads the Access and Product Management (APM) team at Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), a Swiss non-profit product development partnership; his team focuses on improving access to new malaria treatments, including considerations related to availability, acceptability, appropriate use, and pricing.

Before joining MMV, George was the first full-time Country Director for the Clinton Foundation’s HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) in Mozambique, supporting access to antiretroviral treatments via the national health system. He has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry (AstraZeneca Spain), health system management (Kaiser Permanente; Aetna International), and healthcare consulting (ChapterHouse, now part of Oliver Wyman).

Earlier in his career, he worked with ACCION International supporting micro-enterprise programs throughout Latin America.  He holds an undergraduate degree in Romance Languages and Literature at Harvard College and an MBA/MM in healthcare administration at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
