Ammad Bahalim is with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s global policy and advocacy team supporting agricultural development. He is the lead on relationship management with international institutions, donor coordination to achieve SDG2, and advocacy for agricultural research and development and data.

He has previously spent an inordinate amount of time in libraries, think tanks, farms in rural Andhra Pradesh, and, debating in good company, how international agricultural policies affect development.

He studied philosophy, politics, and economics at Brandeis University and international development at Cornell University.
