Sunnylands invites guests to enjoy a relaxing day in the gardens, surrounded by art and the beauty of the desert landscape, in celebration of Slow Art Day in partnership with the California Portrait Society of America. Visitors can explore the gardens at their own pace while watching members of the Portrait Society present live painting demonstrations with models, offering a chance to observe the artistic process up close.
Slow Art Day is a national event that encourages people to slow down and engage more deeply with art, creating space to observe, reflect, and form personal connections.
