About the Artist

Kicking off our 2024 Music in the Gardens series is Jac Jacaruso. Jac is a gifted musician who got his start in New York City, where he honed his skills as an R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist. His most recent work as a solo artist features both blues and jazz. He performs a fresh interpretation of tunes made popular by such artists as Peter Gabriel, John Mayer, Hall & Oates, Paul Simon, and Sting. Joining Jac is Don Reed, a multi-instrumentalist who lives, works, and performs in Idyllwild, California, and Palm Springs. Don also teaches at Idyllwild Arts Academy where he heads up the Songwriting Department that he founded over 14 years ago.
