Art Workshop: Hummingbird Feeder Mandala—Intro to Dot Painting
Join an art workshop inspired by nature as you design a hummingbird feeder using the serene process of mandala dot painting in the Sunnylands gardens.
Led by artist Elaine Printz, workshop participants will experience the meditative joy of this reflective art project while crafting a personalized dot painting feeder in the color and pattern of their choosing.
The durable rock container’s reservoir can be filled with nectar and placed in your garden to attract hummingbirds. Or, for indoor environments, it can double as a versatile tea-light holder. Each holder is meticulously hand-cast by the instructor and includes the innovative hand-made nectar pot insert.
Open to any skill level. No art experience necessary. After the workshop concludes, participants will take their creations home with them.
Fee: $50.99 per guest. All art supplies/materials are provided. Space is limited. Registration required. Ages 14 and above. Unregistered guests are not permitted. Registration opens February 15 at 9 am Pacific time. To register, click or tap here or the yellow button. This workshop is SOLD OUT.
Parking is free. Please arrive 15 minutes before the program start time. Stop by the reception desk to be shown to the Performance Circle. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are recommended.
