Sticks, Stones, & Simplicity: Intro to Environmental Art
The famous French novelist Honoré de Balzac famously proclaimed, “The mission of art is not to copy nature, but to express it!” Celebrate nature and sign up for an open-air workshop that incorporates the Sunnylands gardens into your very own work of art.
Led by artist Judy Sklar, participants will utilize items found in the Sunnylands gardens (sticks, stones, etc.) to craft their own brushes, paints, and other tools that will allow them to artfully interpret their surroundings.
Fee: $39.99 per guest. All supplies and materials are provided. Space is limited. Registration required. No art experience necessary. Ages 14 and above. Unregistered guests are not permitted. To register, please click here or the yellow button below.
This workshop takes place Saturday, April 13, from 9:30 to 11:30 am. Sun protection and a reusable water bottle are recommended. Registration opens February 15 at 9 am Pacific time.
Parking is free. Please arrive 15 minutes before the program start time.
