We are excited to welcome you back for another season of Yoga in the Gardens at Sunnylands. Thanks to the tremendous popularity of this program, we are making a few changes this year to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Yoga will now be offered once a month, rather than weekly, with sessions taking place on the third Friday of each month from November through April. Each one-hour session will now begin at 9 am. The first session of the season will be held on November 20, 2026.
Why the change? Over the years, Yoga in the Gardens has grown into one of our most popular community programs, with attendance sometimes exceeding more than 400 participants per session. While we are delighted by the enthusiasm, the large number of vehicles arriving at the same time can create traffic congestion outside the Sunnylands entrance along Bob Hope Drive. By offering the program monthly, we can reduce the frequency of these traffic impacts and continue to provide a safe and welcoming experience to all our guests.
To support these efforts, we will be working with local law enforcement to help manage traffic outside our entrance. We also encourage participants to carpool to Sunnylands whenever possible.
The good news is everything else about Yoga in the Gardens will remain the same. The program remains free of charge, and our instructors, Stéfane Barbeau and Kristin Olson, will once again lead sessions throughout the season.
