Pat Truchan first came to work for The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands in 2008 as a consultant and eventually joined as an employee in 2010. He now serves as the Director of Operations, managing facilities, hospitality, security, grounds, landscaping and all construction activities. Truchan grew up in Michigan and holds a B.S. in Crop and Soil Science and a B.S. Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University. He is now completing an EMBA at the University of Southern California. Truchan holds a certification from the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America and is completing his fourth year as vice president and fifth year as a board member with the California Hi-Lo Desert Golf Course Superintendents Association. Prior to his current position, Truchan was president of Country Club Landscapes Unlimited based in Arizona. He has provided his professional services to Marbella Country Club, Empire Lakes Golf Course, Tustin ranch Golf Club, and the Bel-Air Country Club. He also has managed four PGA Tour sanctioned events, two PGA of America sanctioned events, and a GCSAA National Championship.
