Matthew C. Wilson

Matt Wilson is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company’s New York office and has been at the firm for 13 years.

Matt leads McKinsey’s Global Public Health practice around the world and serves a broad mix of foundations, multilaterals, bilaterals, ministries of health, and NGOs. In that context, Matt has worked broadly across HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases across more than 75 projects. These projects have ranged from global financing and governance discussions to R&D and portfolio strategies to in country delivery approaches. This has included work with more than 15 ministries of health around Africa on related topics.

Additionally, Matt works broadly across the private sector of healthcare, serving a mix of regulators, pharma, biotech, CROs, and academic institutions. He leads McKinsey’s pro-bono committee and sits on the board of the Brooklyn Museum.

Matt graduated from Yale University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics. He lives in lower Manhattan with his wife Sarah and two children, Arabella and Noah.
