David Dreier

David Dreier chairs the Annenberg- Dreier Commission, which was inspired by Walter Annenberg’s vision to promote free markets, free trade and cultural exchanges throughout the Pacific Rim.
At 25, he launched his first campaign for the United States Congress ultimately going to Washington with Ronald Reagan to pursue their shared goals. In 1987, he co-authored the first NAFTA legislation working with Democrats and Republicans to make it a reality calling it one of his greatest achievements.
In 1999, he joined the Congressional leadership as the first Californian and youngest ever Chairman of the powerful Rules Committee.
Mr. Dreier annually participated as a leader of the Mexico – U.S. inter-parliamentary group.
In 2013 he received special recognition from the Mexican Congress and in 2017 was bestowed Mexico’s highest honor – the Order of the Aztec Eagle.
