Alex Sullivan is the program officer and executive assistant to the president at The Annenberg Foundation Trust at Sunnylands, directly supporting the retreats program and helping execute the daily operations of the president and executive office.

Prior to joining Sunnylands, Sullivan held various positions at the Aga Khan Foundation USA, an international development nonprofit that partners with communities across Africa and Asia to improve the quality of life through educational, economic, and health-related programs. He oversaw the organization’s digital fundraising efforts, and managed communications initiatives with a variety of stakeholders. Previously, he interned at the Hudson Institute, conducting research and analyzing information relating to U.S. foreign policy and political-military interests.

Alex holds a master’s degree in global affairs and international studies from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina.
