The goal of the Annenberg-Dreier Commission is to drive innovative thought and action that
- 1) strengthens the free flow of goods, services, capital, information, ideas, and people throughout the greater Pacific; and
- 2) leverages that flow to promote broad-based economic opportunity.
The rapidly expanding links between Pacific Rim countries are quickly making the Greater Pacific the most dynamic arena for growth, prosperity, and security in the 21st century. Societies there comprise nearly two-thirds of the world's population and GDP. They share compelling needs for innovative collaboration to advance a wide range of core interests.
Those needs outpace the response capacity of governments and multilateral institutions, which are also sometimes limited by outdated understandings of interests.
Working with thought leaders across multiple disciplines, and a variety of high-capacity partners. We seek to foster non-traditional collaboration that strengthens awareness of common interests, and identifies new approaches to advance them.
